CLUB VALLEY is an Indie rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa, two people with something to share about the world as they perceive it, writing songs that deeply resonate with that. Our style of music is dreamy & pop influenced, portraying love, triumph and everything in-between, the sound borders on elements of Rhythm & poetry. Such is the nature of our project, It's surreal & dream like, rooted in expressing the realities of a world perceived & living through it everytime! Our latest release is a Double EP titled The sun behind the curtain, The waysides, a collection of songs that explore life in the modern world.

It leans into what makes everyone, as individuals, so special. The collection of songs are inspired by the things that matter to us, the things that keep us up at night & wake us in the morning to continue this ever changing journey ...This connection is what inspired us to make this project.

Sonic Liberation Across Alkebulan” is Operation Khataza’s core message and ethos. When the Operation performs, it is always under this banner and in this vein. This war cry asserts that true liberation for Alkebulan (a pre-colonial indigenous name for the continent of Africa) and all its inhabitants is attainable when armed with the weapon of music. Music and the word transcend all social and political boundaries. The Operation’s very existence attests to this. Our purpose is to stir and to wake, to cause chaos, and to create community through music.
